Orillia's oldest Fraternity
LOCATION: Approximately a half mile off the Highway 12 Bypass, on Mississaga Street. Situated on the left hand side of the road, when approaching in off the highway (be on the lookout for the flags on our Hall), between Steer and Stop and Duffy's Variety Store. See our location using Google maps
HALL CAPACITY: Although the seating capacity varies depending on the set up for the type of function being held, we have enough chairs to sit 40 people in the main room, and the maximum number of people allowed in the room at once, as dictated by the square footage is 75 people.
LLBO INFORMATION: Our Lodge is NOT licensed by the LLBO, however, a S.O.P. (Special Occasions Permit) for your event can be applied for and purchased, by visiting the Liquor store in town. Getting a permit can sometimes take longer than 2 weeks, so remember to give yourself enough time to acquire one.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Parking: As with most of the other
buildings in the area, parking spaces are relatively few. We do
however have a good relationship with our neighbours who allow us to
use their parking after their business hours. Please do remember
though, if you think that you will be leaving your vehicle over
night, to park in a place where it won't hinder the business the
next day, or have it moved onto the Hall's lot, else you run the
risk of having your vehicle ticketed towed.
Air Conditioning: The main room does
have 1 air conditioner that can be used.
Accessibility: The Hall is partially
accessible. There is a portable ramp for the 7" front step into the
Hall and the washrooms are located on the main level.

Rental of the Hall includes the main room with a raised dais at one end, as well as the Kitchen and the Lower Lounge located in the basement. The Lower Lounge holds 30 persons.
Final rental pricing for the Hall is set by the Hall rental committee and all depends on the type of event you are having and what type of Association you are. The committee takes these into consideration when people inquire about renting the Hall (also Non profit and similar organizations receive the Hall at a reduced rate). Depending on the type of event, the Hall rental committee may ask for a security deposit, which is refundable if the Hall is left clean and there are no damages.
Also available (only upon arrangements when booking), the Hall can provide a person with smart serve to help run your bar. For $70 you get the person with smart serve, plus a refrigerator to keep your beer cold, bar snacks and a secure place to have your bar that is close to, yet not connected with main room. A complete inventory count would be done at the beginning and the end of night, so that you are comfortable knowing the exact amount of alcohol that you have on hand. You also don't have to worry about providing a float for the bar. You would still have complete control over your bar. You get to set the pricing and you get to choose what beer you want to sell. Other than the float and any money from the bar snacks and bartender tips, you receive all the money that is generated from the bar. You are however still responsible to apply for, purchase and have your S.O.P. displayed at your event.
